Best Robe supports families of children with Neurological Disorders
— providing hope, resources, and community for everyone
To provide an atmosphere of hope for families of children with Neurological Disorders and/or Disabilities — equipping them with resources to grow knowledge, meet specific challenges, and ease the mental and social burdens of caregiving.
To be recognized as a leading resource for families struggling to comprehend, cope, and plan solutions for children with Neurological Disorders — at a local level in major U.S. cities, growing into a trusted national presence.
Families of children with Neurological Disorders face lifelong challenges. We will research, identify, and support world-class resources dedicated to these families. We will raise awareness and funding — and be the beginning families need.
Caregivers routinely set aside their own physical and emotional health to prioritize their loved one. We help bridge that gap.
Meals, chores, household maintenance, and errands become monumental when every hour is committed to caregiving.
Navigating school programs, IEPs, medications, and care options demands time and expertise most families don't have alone.
Siblings, parents, and extended family members all carry emotional weight. Counseling and community matter deeply.
Vacations, entertainment, and time away aren't luxuries
— they're necessities for sustainable caregiving families.
We identify and connect families with established organizations, specialists, and community programs that can help.
from a real caregiver
St. Bibiana is the Patron Saint of Neurological Disorders. Her feast day falls on December 2nd. We will celebrate during our signature annual event - a weekend of education, storytelling, testimony, community, and fundraising following Thanksgiving.
Inspired by the spirit of legendary 20th Century Telethons, St. Bibiana Day brings families, donors, and advocates together under one cause.
The event will grow into a multi-city celebration: the same weekend, the same mission, satellite locations across the country — all connected through our website and livestream. Starting in Florida, expanding to Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, and beyond.
Best Robe was born from a lifetime of watching what sacrifice truly looks like. Our founder was shaped by a father who worked the hardest jobs imaginable — farm hand, grave digger, mechanic — and still volunteered every spare hour for church, school, and community. The lesson: generosity is built, not born.
The cause found us through family. Two nephews — one recovering from a brain tumor present at birth requiring lifelong care, another navigating life on the autism spectrum through effort and attention. Over the years, the reality of what families endure never escaped notice.
The fundraising model came from a childhood memory: the annual Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon for Muscular Dystrophy. For Baby Boomers and Gen Xers, it was must-watch television. The MC, the family stories, communities reporting in, live donation updates, sponsor recognition — that vision never faded. It became the blueprint.
Best Robe is our answer to every family who has ever asked: "Where do we begin?"

Best Robe is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations go toward supporting families of children with Neurological Disorders.
